Honor has officially confirmed that it will launch a new smartphone called the Honor Power on April 15 in China. While the company’s teasers have only shown a glimpse of the phone’s front design, a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, has now shared some key details about the device’s specifications.

Rumored Specs of Honor Power

According to the leak, the Honor Power will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset (also known by its model number SM7550). The tipster also revealed that the phone will feature a massive 8,000mAh battery and support 80W fast charging, which means users can expect long battery life and quick charging speeds.

There are also reports that the Honor Power may support satellite messaging, a feature that can help users send messages even without a mobile network. However, the company hasn’t confirmed this officially, and many other details about the phone are still unknown.

Possible Model Numbers and Certifications

In recent weeks, some Honor smartphones have received certifications from China’s 3C authority. These models include DVD-AN00/AN80, AGN-AN00, and PPG-AN00. Among them, the first two are said to support 80W charging, while the third one may support up to 90W. Based on MIIT certification, the DVD-AN80 model supports satellite messaging, suggesting that this could be the upcoming Honor Power.

What’s Next for Honor?

Honor is also working on several other smartphones. These include the Honor GT Pro, the 400 series, the Honor X70 lineup, and new foldable phones like the Magic V2 Flip and Magic V5. According to leaks, the GT Pro might launch shortly after the Power, the 400 series could arrive in May, and the foldables may launch in June.
