Motorola Moto G96 Launched in India with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, 144Hz OLED Display

Motorola has officially launched the Moto G96 in India. The new mid-range smartphone offers a smooth 144Hz OLED display, a powerful Snapdragon chipset, and solid battery life, all at an affordable price.

Display and Design

The Moto G96 features a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 1600 nits peak brightness, making it easy to view even in bright sunlight. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and comes with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Moto G96 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB RAM. It comes in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB, offering enough space for apps, photos, and videos.

The phone runs on the latest Android 15 out of the box. Motorola has promised 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches, providing users with long-term software support.

Camera Setup

The Moto G96 has a dual camera system on the back. It includes a 50MP main camera (Sony LYT-700C sensor) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera for wider shots. On the front, it features a 32MP selfie camera, ideal for video calls and selfies.
