Nothing CEO Carl Pei will be announcing soon about their next major update Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15. Recently, we heard that its closed beta has already started, but now we heard that it will have a new Glyph Interface. This update is eagerly anticipated because it will include innovative features that greatly improve how we interact with our devices.

The new Glyph interface in Nothing OS 3.0 will be able to support custom contact-specific Glyph patterns. That means that at any given time when there is a call on a silent phone, the unique Glyph pattern highlights who is calling. This would add a layer of personalization and utility still unseen in smartphone interfaces.

On top of this headline feature, there will likely be quick settings panel changes and UI settings changes because of their focus on making things easier for the user. Although some changes were able to be recognized from the recent closed beta test, more are expected to release in the open beta.

None of these developments have been tipped through various teasers, which have kept discussions and over-speculation going within the tech community. The complete reveal of Nothing OS 3.0 will be packed with several more enhancements that remain wrapped until the official annoucement.

While the tech community awaits this major release, discussions have already begun on how these changes will affect the general user experience. The Nothing OS 3.0 release is likely to major change, setting the trend both for new functionalities in smartphones and design alike.
