Nothing is already known for its unique transparent design smartphone. It also has a sub-brand smartphone that comes in the mid-range category. But now, these Nothing smartphones will get into the gaming as well. Recently, some devices have got the 90 FPS option in PUBG Mobile 3.4 such as Nothing Phone (2), Nothing Phone (2a), and CMF Phone 1.

Tencent Games recently released the PUBG Mobile 3.4 update since some Nothing devices have an Extreme+ (90 FPS) option. But there is a small problem to fix you have to go into Pop-up view once and get back to the full screen while in-game. Then only you can enjoy smooth 90 FPS on your devices.

I tried this fix with Nothing Phone (2) and CMF Phone 1 which is working fine, but in the future, Tencent or Nothing may release a fix that prevents smooth 90 FPS gameplay on these devices. For Phone (2a), I don’t know why it’s not working, still capped at 60 FPS or below. But in the pop-view window, it gives smooth 90 FPS, but when getting back to the full screen, it gets capped again.

At least, we should be thankful to Tencent Games they have finally provided us smooth 90 FPS option for some smartphones. For me, I enjoyed playing on Nothing Phone (2) as no major frame drops were seen in the Extreme+ option. It gave me stable FPS in TDM matches and classic matches.

Talking about the CMF Phone 1 it wasn’t great with classic matches as frame drops were happening on the hot drops. So this means you can enjoy TDM matches without any problem on the CMF Phone 1.

For now, I hope that we receive this 90 FPS option in the upcoming BGMI 3.4 update but it remains on the KRAFTON side as they are the publisher of this game in India. The rumored date for releasing BGMI 3.4 update is September 20 this week.
