Nothing Phone (2), Phone (2a) & CMF Phone 1 Finally Get 90 FPS Option in BGMI
BGMI 3.4 is an update for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game, that brings new performance while adding a 90 FPS option, available for major devices such as Nothing Phone (2), Phone (2a), and CMF Phone 1, among others.
Previously, I already told you about this, and it confirmed that the BGMI 3.4 update will bring 90 FPS to these devices.
What’s New in BGMI 3.4 for Nothing Phones?
The 90 FPS feature allows for a smoother gaming experience compared to the standard 60 FPS, so you get much smoother gaming. It’s quite a considerate improvement, especially for action-packed sequences that often occur in BGMI. Now you can be immersed deeper with less motion blur and more sharpness in such fast-moving scenes.
How to Enable 90 FPS in Nothing Phones?
To enable 90 FPS mode, a user has to enter the ‘Graphics and Audio’ settings menu of the game. The ‘Smooth and Extreme Plus’ has to be chosen so that the game starts in 90 FPS. It must be noted that stable performance at 90 FPS might only be obtained with these settings or with optimized phone usage and maintenance to avoid it from overheating.
Availability
The Nothing Phone (2), Phone (2a), and CMF Phone 1 will now support the option of 90 FPS. This happens to be one of the steps that BGMI will use in order to give its competitors a kick-start in with the high-end hardware comprising the most recent versions of devices.
User Response
But there is a problem with the 90 FPS option. Whenever we open the game and try to play Classic or TDM, we have to go into the pop-up view window once and then back to full screen; only then do we achieve smooth 90 FPS otherwise it is capped at 60 FPS. Currently, this issue is only working for the Nothing Phone (2) and CMF Phone 1, but not for the Phone (2a).
I can just hope that Nothing should release a fix for this in upcoming updates. Already Krafton has done their job bringing a 90 FPS option for Nothing Phones.
