Nothing has officially launched the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro in India. It is the company’s latest smartphone and the successor to last year’s Phone (3a) Pro. The new model brings upgrades in display, performance, cameras and design.
Display, Performance and Software
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro features 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Nothing says the phone includes a large 5,300 mm² vapour chamber cooling system for better performance. It supports BGMI at 120Hz and PUBG at 90Hz.
The phone runs Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1. The company promises 3 Android updates and 6 years of security updates. It also keeps the Essential Key and supports Essential Space features.

Glyph Matrix
Unlike the Phone (4a), the Pro model comes with the Glyph Matrix, first seen on the Phone (3). It includes 137 mini-LEDs, covers a larger area and is up to 100% brighter (around 3000 nits). According to Nothing, it offers sharper and more detailed notifications.
It also supports Glyph Toys such as Battery, Timer, Digital Clock, Solar Path and Glyph Mirror, along with Always-on Display integration.
Camera and Design
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro features a triple rear camera setup:
- 50MP main camera with Sony LYT700c sensor and OIS
- 8MP ultra-wide camera
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, 3.5x optical zoom and up to 140x hybrid zoom
For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front camera with support for 4K recording.
The device comes with a full-metal aluminium frame, slim 7.9mm design, and a redesigned camera bar that holds both the cameras and Glyph Matrix. It also uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and offers IP65 dust and splash resistance.
Battery
The Indian version packs a 5400mAh battery, while the global model has a slightly smaller battery. It supports 50W wired charging, which can charge up to 60% in about 30 minutes. The phone does not support wireless charging.
Nothing says the battery can retain over 90% capacity after 1,200 charging cycles, which equals more than three years of daily charging.
