OnePlus 13 to Feature Magnetic Wireless Charging, Executive Reveals

The OnePlus 13 is set to launch soon and it will support magnetic wireless charging but there’s a twist. The phone itself may not have magnets built in but it could rely on special magnetic cases that connect to magnetic wireless chargers.

There’s still a chance that the phone itself could have magnets, but we can’t be 100% sure yet. If OnePlus decides to go with the case option, it would be similar to those already offered by a myriad case makers. These products allow regular wireless charging phones to work with MagSafe-style chargers by using magnetic cases.

The executive confirmed that OnePlus will release wood grain design cases for the OnePlus 13. These cases likely won’t be made of real wood but they will have a design that looks like wood.

The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch later this month. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and come with a huge amount of RAM.
