iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Tipped to Launch Soon with Dimensity 9300+ and 6,400mAh Battery
Last week, iQOO has confirmed it will soon launch a new phone called the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ in China. The brand has already shown the design but has not yet shared the phone’s specifications or launch date. However, some of the Chinese sources have given a glimpse of what to expect.
According to these leaks, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will be an upgraded version of the Z9 Turbo, which was launched earlier this year. The Z9 Turbo can be seen with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and a 6,000mAh battery. The new Z9 Turbo+ will have a more powerful Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a bigger 6,400mAh battery. Like the earlier model, the Turbo+ will support 80W fast charging.
Even though the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ has a bigger battery, it will have a slim profile of 7.9mm just like the Z9 Turbo. The weight will increase slightly from 195 grams to 199 grams. Instead of the independent Turbo graphics chip and single-frequency GPS found in the Z9 Turbo, the new Plus model will feature iQOO’s self-developed Q1 gaming chip and dual-frequency GPS. iQOO Z9 Turbo+ ‘s other specifications may remain similar to the Z9 Turbo. According to the leaks the phone will be launched on September 24.
The Z9 Turbo+ is expected to have a 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution with 144Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will run on Android 14 with OriginOS 4.
In terms of cameras, the Turbo+ might have a 16-megapixel front-camera. On the back, it could feature a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. In China, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is expected to be priced at around 2,000 Yuan (about $282).
