Spooky Soiree Themed Mode
The highlight of the BGMI 4.0 update is the Spooky Soiree Themed Mode, which brings eerie environments, new gameplay mechanics, and ghostly surprises.
Wraithmoor Mansion
This new location is a large haunted mansion filled with supernatural decorations, secret areas, and treasures. Inside, players will find a magic mirror that can reveal valuable loot but also unleash ghosts and change the in-game weather. Ghosts also hide in random objects—attack them to get supplies, but be careful, as scaring them away will make you lose the rewards.
The Performing Dead
During matches, a concert event featuring the ghost band “The Performing Dead” will take place. Players can watch the performance and earn supply rewards at the end. By interacting with the band and correcting their music, players can unlock even better rewards. The ghost band may also alert players about nearby enemies.
Ghostie – Your New Companion
Another major addition is Ghostie, a ghostly companion that follows the player and can use unique skills. Ghostie is normally only visible to its owner but becomes visible when using abilities.
Ghostie can equip 1 main skill and 2 passive skills at a time, with upgrade options available.
- Main Skills:
- Floating Balloon: Transforms into a balloon to lift and fly.
- Guardian Shield: Becomes a large shield for protection or knocking back enemies.
- Passive Skills include:
- Armorer (repairs armor),
- Ghost Helm (protects against headshots),
- Scan (detects enemies),
- Boost (increases sprint speed),
- Heal (restores health or rescues teammates).
Magic Broom – Fly Like a Witch
Players can now summon a Magic Broom, which can carry two players and fly freely. It comes with dash for fast movement and sweep for knocking away enemies.
Strength Potion – Power Boost
The update also introduces the Strength Potion, a consumable item that gives players superhuman abilities for 50 seconds. While active, players move faster, jump higher, and take less damage—but cannot use firearms. Instead, they can slam the ground after jumping to cause massive area damage.
With all these spooky and exciting new features, the BGMI 4.0 update promises to bring fresh and thrilling gameplay experiences for players across India.

Nothing to Invest ₹860 Crores in India, Create 1,800 Jobs

London-based tech company Nothing, led by co-founder and CEO Carl Pei, is making big plans for India. During his visit to the country, Pei met with Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, to discuss the company’s future.
After the meeting, Pei shared on X (formerly Twitter) that Nothing will invest about $100 million (around Rs 860 crores) in India over the next three years. This investment will also create more than 1,800 new jobs. As part of the plan, Nothing is setting up a joint manufacturing venture with Optiemus, a well-known Indian electronics manufacturer.
What About CMF by Nothing, Nothing’s Sub-Brand?
Nothing also confirmed changes for its budget-friendly sub-brand CMF by Nothing. The company said CMF will now function as an independent subsidiary in India, with its global operations, R&D, and manufacturing shifting to the country.
Carl Pei called CMF a “success in India” and said the brand aims to become the first truly global smartphone brand from India. Optiemus Executive Chairman Ashok Gupta added that this collaboration reflects the strength of the Indian tech ecosystem and supports the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision.
What’s Next for Nothing?
Nothing has been growing rapidly, recently reaching a $1.3 billion valuation. The company also raised $200 million in a Series C funding round. Looking ahead, Nothing is preparing to enter the AI race next year, with plans to launch AI-powered devices designed to change how people use AI on their smartphones.
With this new investment and expansion, India is set to become a major hub for Nothing’s manufacturing, exports, and innovation.
