Exclusive: Full Leak of Nothing Ear (Open) Ahead of Official Release
Nothing is going to enter the open-ear earbud market with its new product, the Nothing Ear (Open), to be launched on September 24 at 6 PM. The launch is going to happen simultaneously at 15:00 CET, 9 AM in New York, and 6 AM in California. Just a few days before the official launch, information regarding Ear (Open) arrived, which bears earbuds featuring its peculiar semi-transparent design – a sort of signature style of Nothing.
The Nothing Ear (Open) has 14.2 mm titanium-coated polyethylene terephthalate drivers in each bud. A 64 mAh battery is fitted in each earbud, and the charging case has a 635 mAh battery. It can deliver eight hours of playback on the earbuds, while both the earbuds and the case can offer up to 30 hours. The earbuds provide six hours of call time, and it extends to 24 hours with the case.
The Ear (Open) is further equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for stable and strong connectivity. It also has a feature called dual connection. Also, these are IP54 certified, thereby dust and splash-proof, so they suit any environment. Such earbuds also come equipped with AI-powered Clear Voice technology; ultra-low latency mode for real-time audio, and finally, full ChatGPT functionality, if you use it with a Nothing smartphone.
Although the Ear (Open) sports several high-end features, it will not have active noise cancellation and will debut in white only. The pricing is not revealed to date.
