Google Android 15 Update Officially Released, Closed Updates Rolling Out

After numerous developer previews and public beta versions, Android 15 is now fully stable and prepared for release on all smartphones. However, even though the final version is ready, it’s not yet available to the general public, including you and me. At this stage, only developers have access to the stable version so they can optimize their apps and services before it’s officially rolled out to everyone else.
Google has finally uploaded the Android 15 source code to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) but updates for phones are not yet ready. Even Google’s own Pixel smartphones are still running Android 14 with the September update that began rolling out yesterday.
Google also promised that Android 15 will arrive on Pixel devices very soon, including the newly launched Pixel 9 series. Smartphones from Samsung, Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, vivo, and Xiaomi will receive the update in the coming months.
As of now, we have heard that the OnePlus 12 has received OxygenOS 15 first CBT update followed by Nothing’s Phone 2a which also received Nothing OS 3.0 CBT update based on Android 15.
According to the previous reports, Android 15 would reach Pixel devices in October. Although Google hasn’t confirmed this directly. For now, developers can explore the AOSP code and begin working with it.

Here’s when the Oppo K13 Turbo series will launch in India

Oppo launched the K13 Turbo series smartphones in China last week, and it has been teasing these phones in India for the past few days. Oppo hasn’t revealed when it will launch the K13 Turbo series in India, but we’ve learned from a reliable source that the lineup will debut in India in the week of August 11. To be more precise, between August 11 and August 14.

Oppo’s K13 Turbo series includes two phones – the Oppo K13 Turbo and the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro. Both have similar designs and specs, with the most significant difference being the chipset. The K13 Turbo is powered by the Dimensity 8450 SoC, while the K13 Turbo Pro has the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip at the helm.
One of the biggest highlights of these phones is the built-in cooling fan, advertised to help the devices run 2–4°C cooler under high-load conditions. Oppo’s Indian branch said this fan module will be IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9-rated, and the smartphones will have 7,000 mAh batteries under the hood.

We are yet to get an official confirmation on whether or not the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro’s Indian models will share the design and specs with their Chinese counterparts.

Lava Blaze Dragon Leaks Reveal Design, Key Specs, and Launch Date

Indian smartphone brand Lava is preparing to launch two new smartphones this month — the Blaze AMOLED 2 and the Blaze Dragon. While Lava has already confirmed that the Blaze Dragon will be officially launched on July 25, more details about the phone have now been leaked.
Key Specifications
According to industry sources, the Lava Blaze Dragon will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It will also come with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage for faster performance. The main camera on the back is expected to be a 50MP sensor. Additionally, the phone is said to run on a stock version of Android 15, which means users can expect a clean and simple Android experience without any extra apps or heavy customizations.
Design and Features
Leaked official renders show the Blaze Dragon’s rear design, which reveals a dual-camera setup. Apart from the 50MP main camera, the second lens could either be an ultrawide camera or a 2MP depth/macro sensor. The images also confirm the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device.

In addition to the renders, live photos of the phone have surfaced online. These images reveal a new color variant that features a stylish “rainbow” light reflection effect on the camera island, giving the phone a more premium look. However, no images have shown the front design of the phone yet.
Pricing
One of the most exciting details is the expected price. Sources suggest that the Lava Blaze Dragon will be priced under Rs 10,000.

iQOO 15 Leaks Reveal Major Camera and Display Upgrades

New leaks have revealed more details about the upcoming iQOO 15 smartphone, which is expected to launch later this year. This device is shaping up to be a strong flagship contender, especially after missing features in its predecessor, the iQOO 13.
Back in May, reports suggested that the iQOO 15 would come with a large 6.85-inch flat OLED display, made by Samsung. This display will have QHD+ resolution and use LIPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology for improved performance and power efficiency.
Now, popular leaker Digital Chat Station has shared more information about the phone’s hardware. One of the most exciting features is the return of a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. This is an upgrade over the iQOO 13, which only had a standard 2x telephoto lens and no periscope zoom—something many fans were disappointed about. The iQOO 12 had the periscope lens, and its return in the iQOO 15 brings back one of the most requested features.

Another major upgrade is the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which is expected to offer faster and more accurate unlocking compared to traditional optical sensors. The phone will also include vivo’s self-developed independent display chip, designed to enhance image processing and visual quality.
In terms of charging, the iQOO 15 will support 100W wired fast charging. The company is reportedly still deciding whether to add wireless charging, but according to sources, it is likely to be included. Wireless charging is another feature that was missing in the iQOO 13 and could help position the iQOO 15 as a complete flagship device.
The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (Elite 2) chipset, which is set to be officially announced in September. This processor will likely offer better performance and efficiency, making the iQOO 15 one of the earliest phones to feature the new chip.
With improved display, camera, and charging features, the iQOO 15 is shaping up to be a true flagship smartphone that fills the gaps left by its predecessor. More details, including the official launch date, are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
