Nothing Ear (Web) Now Available on Chromium Browsers with Cross-Platform Support and New Audio Features

Nothing Ear Web

One year after releasing Ear (PC), Nothing Mod has officially announced Nothing Ear (web), an unofficial solution, for users of Nothing and CMF Audio devices in a bid to adjust settings on their devices. The web application possesses much more features compared to its peer and is accessible on more devices.

Accessible on More Platforms

Ear (PC) was available only for Windows when it came out. Thus, this created a bottleneck for the users who require these two products with MacOS and Linux as well. Currently, Ear (web) can be accessed on any browser that supports Chromium, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc, with compatibility for major operating systems like Windows, MacOS, Linux, and ChromeOS.

Since it is a web application, users can access it from any computer without the need for administrator rights. Just enable Bluetooth and open a Chrome browser.

New Features

Nothing has just launched an Advanced Equalizer and Noise Reduction for Ear (stick). It came with an infamous bug that prevented it from switching between the presets or using the Advanced Equalizer at all. The problem has been now finally fixed, though not without retaining some of the present functionality: users would still need to set the Advanced Equalizer via the Nothing X app.

They also added Noise Reduction on Ear (stick) based on popular demand. There’s also Ultra Bass mode, first seen on recent CMF and Nothing products, now available for compatible devices.

New Supported Devices

The update adds support to several new devices including:

  • Nothing Ear (2024)
  • CMF Buds Pro
  • CMF Buds Pro 2
  • Nothing Ear (stick)

In the future, this list of products will include Nothing Ear (a), as well as other CMF devices like CMF Buds and Neckband Pro.

You can access Nothing Ear (web) from here on any browser.

Nothing OS Style Volume Slider App

A new app called NoVolume is gaining attention among Nothing Phone users for its clean, minimal design that matches the unique style of Nothing OS. If you’re bored of the default Android volume slider, this app might be the perfect upgrade.

The NoVolume app lets users slide to adjust the volume smoothly, swipe right to show the default Android volume panel, and even change the position and sensitivity of the slider. It works well with Nothing Phone (1), Phone (2), Phone (2a), Phone (2a), Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Pro, CMF Phone 1, CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing Phone (3) and even other Android phones.

What makes it stand out is its simple UI and customizability. It blends perfectly with the Nothing Phone’s transparent and minimal design language. Users can personalize how and where the slider appears, making it both functional and stylish.

You can download the NoVolume app from Google Play Store.

The best part? It doesn’t require root access. Just install it like any other app and start using it right away.

For those who love the Nothing OS aesthetic and want to add a new touch to their phone’s interface, the NoVolume app is worth checking out.

Nothing Could Be Working on a New Type of Smartphone

Published

Nothing Phone 3 Display

Nothing recently launched its Phone (3), which the company says is its first true flagship device. But now, new rumors suggest that Nothing may be planning to expand its smartphone lineup even further.

According to a well-known Indian leaker on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the company might be working on new models under the “Lite” or “T” series. The leaker claims that “Pro models are just not cutting it,” hinting that Nothing might be looking for a new direction.

It’s not completely clear which models the leaker is referring to. Recently, the only Pro version from Nothing was the Phone (3a) Pro which is a mid-range phone with better specs than the regular Phone (3a).

At this time, no detailed information has been shared about the possible Lite or T models. For example, it’s unclear whether Nothing will release a Phone (3) Lite, a Phone (3a) Lite, or both. Each could target different types of users depending on price and features.

If the rumor is true, more leaks and official updates from Nothing may follow soon. Until then, users can check out the company’s current flagship that is the Nothing Phone (3) which is already available.

CMF Watch 3 Pro

Nothing sub-brand CMF by Nothing has officially launched the new CMF Watch 3 Pro, which comes with several upgrades over the previous model, including a larger screen, improved battery life, and unfortunately, a higher price.

Bigger and Brighter Display

The Watch 3 Pro features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, which is slightly larger than the 1.32-inch screen on the older model. It’s also a bit brighter, reaching 650 nits, and offers a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels with a 60Hz refresh rate. Users can choose from over 120 watch faces, including animated and interactive ones. Some of these are specially designed for the Always-On Display (AOD) mode.

Better Battery Life

This new smartwatch packs a 350mAh battery, which can last up to 13 days in normal use (without AOD) and about 3.5 days with AOD enabled. A full charge takes around 99 minutes. In comparison, the older model had a smaller 305mAh battery with up to 11 days of usage.

Stylish Build and Colors

The CMF Watch 3 Pro comes with a metal body and soft silicone straps. It’s available in three colors: Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange. Each variant has slight differences in weight and thickness due to the bezel design, but the bezel is fixed and can’t be changed — only the straps are removable.

Light Grey15.2mm51.0g
Orange14.5mm52.4g

Features for Fitness and Connectivity

The Watch 3 Pro supports 131 sports modes, including HIIT, yoga, and more. It can automatically detect workouts and guide users through warm-up exercises using 3D animations.

CMF Watch 3 Pro Health Features

For outdoor use, it offers dual-band GPS (L1 + L5) and supports multiple satellite systems like GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. The watch is also IP68 rated, meaning it’s water and dust resistant (but not suitable for swimming).

Smart Features

The watch allows Bluetooth calling with two microphones, a speaker, and AI noise reduction. It also supports gesture controls like flipping or double-shaking the wrist to perform actions.

In a unique addition, ChatGPT is built into the watch to answer questions and offer help, including a running coach feature. Users can record voice notes that are automatically transcribed, and the Essential News feature can read out the latest headlines.

Price and Availability

The CMF Watch 3 Pro is priced at $99 / £99 / €99, but is currently available for a discounted price of $79 in the US. However, it is not yet available in India, and there’s no listing on Flipkart at the moment.
