Nothing has started rolling out Nothing OS 4.1 April 2026 update for the Nothing Phone (4a). The latest update brings April 2026 security patch and new changes. The update size is around 156 MB and focuses mainly on camera improvements, system stability, and small UI refinements.
Camera Improvements
The update improves the overall camera performance. The front camera now has better exposure stability while recording videos, which means more balanced lighting. The rear camera autofocus has also been improved for sharper photos.
HDR performance is now more consistent, especially in portrait shots. Along with this, colour rendering has been refined, so photos look more natural and vibrant.

The spacing of status bar icons has been improved for a cleaner look. Haptic feedback in the Recorder app is now more refined, giving a better feel while using it.
