OnePlus Buds 4: Powerful Sound Meets Smart Features

OnePlus has confirmed that its new OnePlus Buds 4 will officially launch in India on July 8, 2025. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared key details about the earbuds, focusing on better sound quality, useful features, and comfortable design.
Powerful Sound and Low Latency for Gamers
The OnePlus Buds 4 are built with dual drivers and dual DACs to deliver clear and detailed sound. The earbuds also support Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D Audio, which are designed to provide a high-quality and immersive listening experience.
For mobile gamers, the Buds 4 will offer a 47ms ultra-low latency Game Mode, which helps reduce sound delay. This is especially helpful for competitive gaming where timing and fast response are very important.
Active Noise Cancellation and AI Translation
OnePlus has confirmed that the Buds 4 will support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 55dB, helping to block outside noise for better focus on music or calls.
Another exciting feature is AI Translation, which allows real-time language translation during conversations with just a tap on the earbud. This could be very useful for people who travel or communicate in different languages.

Long Battery Life and Fast Charging
The Buds 4 are expected to offer up to 11 hours of playback time on a single charge. With the charging case, the total listening time can go up to 45 hours. The earbuds also support fast charging, giving users hours of playback with just a short charge.
Stylish Design and Smart Features
The earbuds will be available in two color options: Zen Green and Storm Gray. They also include slide gestures on the earbud stems, making it easy to control the volume by sliding your finger.
OnePlus has added Steady Connect technology to ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, especially when used outdoors. Other useful features include Google Fast Pair for quick device connection and Dual-Device Connection, allowing users to easily switch between two connected devices.
Availability
The OnePlus Buds 4 will be available for purchase after the launch on Amazon.in, the OnePlus online store, OnePlus Experience stores, and select offline stores across India.

OnePlus 11 OxygenOS 15 August Update Rolls Out with Split View Enhancements, BeaconLink, and Privacy Improvements

OnePlus has rolled out a new OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 11, bringing a range of improvements, useful features, and the latest August 2025 Android security patch. The update size is 890.86 MB and focuses on making the phone smoother, smarter, and more secure.
The update enhances the overall user experience with smoother animations for opening, repositioning, and resizing floating windows. Multitasking also gets better with improvements to Split View. It is no longer limited to fixed ratios, and users can now adjust the ratio freely. When using two apps in landscape, the divider can be dragged to resize them according to preference.
In terms of notifications, OnePlus has simplified how alerts appear in landscape mode. Instead of taking over the full screen, banner notifications now appear in a minimal format to reduce interruptions. Users can also swipe down on a notification to open the app in a floating window, or tap a button to do the same, rather than switching to full screen.
The Private Safe feature has been upgraded as well. Users can now share images and videos stored in Private Safe, customize album covers, and sort or view media files by time. There is also a new option to add files directly under the “Other files” category, giving more control over stored content. When recent tasks are stacked, users can now lock or unlock apps simply by swiping down on the app from the recent tasks screen.
A notable addition is BeaconLink, which allows users to send text, images, and voice messages to nearby people without an internet connection. This can be enabled in Settings > Mobile network > BeaconLink.
Lastly, the update integrates the August 2025 Android security patch, ensuring better protection for the device.
With this update, the OnePlus 11 becomes more seamless to use, offering improved multitasking, enhanced privacy options, and a more distraction-free experience.

Nothing Essential Space vs OnePlus Mind Space: Full AI Feature Comparison

I tested Nothing’s Essential Space on the Nothing Phone (3) and OnePlus Mind Space on the OnePlus 11. Both look similar on the surface, but the way they work feels very different. Let’s break it down.
Nothing Essential Space has a dedicated Essential Key button. Just double press, and the app opens instantly. From there, you can create summaries, reminders, or even voice notes. Everything is simple and fast.
OnePlus Mind Space works with a three-finger swipe gesture. It opens smoothly and also creates summaries and reminders, but you need to do more manual steps compared to Nothing.
The big win for Essential Space is that it syncs directly with Google Calendar. Add a reminder once, and it’s already there. You can even record voice notes or use the camera app to analyze photos and auto-generate descriptions.
Mind Space, on the other hand, shines with app-wise sorting. For example, it can organize summaries by WhatsApp, Chrome, or Twitter, which is quite useful. But adding reminders is manual, and sharing options are limited.
Nothing also adds cool exclusive features like Flip-to-Record, where you just flip the phone, hold the key, and it records with Glyph animations. Later, the AI auto-summarizes your entire meeting or talk into English text. Super handy!
Sharing is also easier on Nothing. You can export your notes as an image, PDF, or Markdown and send them anywhere. On OnePlus, you only get the delete option, which feels basic.
Overall, Nothing Essential Space feels more polished and feature-rich, while OnePlus Mind Space is still catching up. The app-wise sorting on OnePlus is neat, but Nothing’s extra features make it the better option for now.
