Redmi 12C Grabs HyperOS 1.5 August Update in India With New Changes
Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 1.5 August Update is now rolling out for a budget-friendly device, Redmi 12C. This update is being rolled out for beta testers in India and will be available for everyone else over the coming week.
Xiaomi is now rolling out the latest HyperOS 1.5 based August update for Redmi 12C users in Indian region with OS1.0.6.0.UCVINXM build number and the size of the update is 392 MB. This update integrates the latest August 2024 Android security patch level for Redmi 12C users in India that will ensures the device security and stability.

Moreover, this update adds a new toggle to disable the ability of opening lock screen editing interface after long pressing under settings/lock screen. HyperOS 1.5 also aims to fix certain issues regarding lag or jitters from the system by making it more smoother. Also, with significant animation improvements users will experience better battery life after updating to the latest version.
