A few days back Nothing released Nothing OS 2.6 update for its smartphones such as Nothing Phone (2), Phone (2a), and CMF Phone 1. This update brings many new features to the devices, but currently, these features are exclusive to CMF Phone 1.
New features of Nothing OS 2.6:
Smart Charging Mode: It is designed to help prolong the life of a battery—will pace the charge overnight to ensure that the phone charges more slowly, avoiding pressure on the battery. It allows users to set charging limits, like stopping at 70% or 80%, to really extend battery life.
AI Vivid Mode in Camera: Introduce an AI vivid mode which will revolutionize photo colors and brightness. The mode recognizes scenes and objects automatically and adjusts the camera setting to pop the colors in your photos more vividly.
Natural Mode in Camera: Together with the Vivid Mode, a Natural Mode will ensure that photos capture true hues and authenticity of the moment. This mode roughly emulates what the eye would see to provide a more natural look without over-saturating colors.
Expandable Notification and Popup View: These days, notifications are getting smarter. Now, users can swipe down to bring up the new coming notification in a popup view. This becomes very handy for multitasking because an app can be allowed to run in a small window while you navigate various other tasks.
Intelligent Anti-Disconnect for Calls: As aimed at gamers, this feature automatically hangs up an incoming call after 5 to 10 seconds if it is not answered. This helps players not be disturbed in the mostengaging moments of a game and not lose concentration on playing.
These features might come to all Nothing Phones in the next updates. But it’s not confirmed that every feature will come. As of now, Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (2a) have received the Nothing OS 2.6 update, but Phone (1) hasn’t.

Among these deals, the CMF Headphone Pro at ₹4,999 stands out, bringing CMF’s over-ear headphones below the ₹5,000 mark.
The earbuds also become considerably more affordable at these sale prices. The Buds Neo is available for ₹1,699, while the Buds 2a, Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus are priced at ₹1,899, ₹2,499 and ₹2,699, respectively.
Additional Bank Discounts May Be Available
The listed prices are already discounted, but Flipkart may also offer additional instant discounts or cashback through eligible bank cards and payment offers during the sale. The final price can therefore vary depending on the payment method and applicable offers.
Personal Recommendation
Having personally used these CMF audio products, I can say that they offer a good overall experience for their respective price segments. If you’re specifically looking for an affordable pair of CMF earbuds, the Buds 2a and Buds 2 Plus are worth considering.
However, the CMF Headphone Pro at ₹4,999 is arguably the most interesting deal in this lineup, especially if you’re looking for over-ear headphones rather than TWS earbuds.

CMF by Nothing appears to be teasing two new products, and its latest social media post has given fans another clue to speculate about what could be coming.
Yesterday, CMF shared an image featuring two Pokémon — Snivy (#0495) and Victini (#0494). At first, it could simply look like a fun Pokémon reference, but the Pokédex numbers may be the more interesting part of the teaser.
CMF has already confirmed that it is preparing to launch two new products, and the latest teaser features exactly two Pokémon with the numbers 0495 and 0494.
Nothing/CMF typically has specific model numbers associated with its products, so it raises the question: could 495 and 494 be a clue toward the model numbers of the upcoming products?
Of course, this is only speculation for now. The numbers could simply be the official Pokédex numbers of Snivy and Victini, with no connection to the products.
But considering CMF is currently teasing two new products, the timing makes the reference interesting.
CMF has already entered several categories, including smartphones, smartwatches, neckband, TWS earbuds and headphones. This also raises the possibility that at least one of the upcoming products could belong to a new category, potentially something like a portable speaker.
Interestingly, CMF also recently announced a Community review program, which could potentially be related to these upcoming products. However, Indian users are once again not eligible for the program.
For now, CMF hasn’t revealed what the two products are, but this Pokémon teaser may have given us another small clue.
