Nothing Gallery 2.0 Update Brings Powerful New Editing Features

Nothing Gallery 2.0 Editing Feature

Nothing has released a major new update for the Nothing Gallery app, and it brings one of the most requested features — a built-in photo and video editor. With this update, users can now edit their photos and videos directly inside the Gallery app, without needing to use any third-party apps.

Nothing gallery edit feature

This new editor comes with a variety of useful tools. For photo editing, you now get options like crop, rotate, flip, and resize. There are also advanced settings such as exposure, contrast, vibrance, saturation, highlights, shadows, warmth, tint, sharpness, and more. Users can fine-tune their images using 12 different adjustment tools, making it easier to get the perfect look.

Nothing Gallery Edit Feature

Nothing has also added 10 new filters to the app, including styles like Natural, Warm, Cold, Noir, Black & White, and Negative. The best part is that each filter comes with a custom intensity slider, allowing users to control how strong the effect appears on their photos.

Video editing is now supported too. You can trim video clips, adjust volume levels, and even control the speed of slow-motion videos. This makes it a complete solution for basic video edits directly from the Gallery app itself.

The user interface has also received improvements. Albums now appear in a grid view, and the font and layout across the app look cleaner and more modern. The update also changes the version of the app from 1.1.26.0606 to 2.0.9.0623, indicating a big upgrade.

However, the Gallery app is still not the default photo viewer after taking pictures on older Nothing devices. Even if you disable Google Photos, some phones may still struggle to open photos with the Gallery app. But this issue is expected to be fixed in the Nothing Phone (3), where Nothing Gallery will reportedly be set as the default.

Another small but important feature added is the smart categorization of photos and videos. The app will now automatically sort your media into categories like people, nature, or transport — but only when your phone is charging and not in use. This AI-powered feature is still rolling out and might not appear for everyone immediately.

Currently, there’s also a basic cut-out tool for images, which hints that more AI editing features may be added in future updates. For now, this update already brings a much better and smoother experience.

If you haven’t updated yet, just search for “Nothing Gallery” on the Google Play Store and update it to enjoy all these new features.

CMF Phone 2 Pro June Update

Nothing has released a new software update for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. This update brings the latest version of Nothing OS 3.2 and includes several improvements across the system, especially in terms of camera performance, stability, and security. The update file size is 248 MB and comes with the June 2025 Android security patch.

One of the key highlights of this update is the improved system functionality. Users can now reset their Private Space password using their lock screen password through the reset options. Additionally, the update brings better stability for Pop-up View and pattern unlock on the lock screen, making the overall experience smoother. A rare issue related to noise during phone calls has also been fixed, improving call quality.

The update also focuses heavily on enhancing the camera experience. It optimizes noise issues that occurred while using the telephoto lens in certain scenarios. Photo quality in outdoor scenes has been improved, and users will also notice better clarity when shooting in low-light or night conditions. Overall camera stability and smoothness have been enhanced as well, and a bug causing brightness changes in the Gallery while zooming has been resolved.

As with many updates, users might experience temporary heating or slightly higher battery usage during the update process. However, the phone is expected to return to normal performance once the update is fully installed and settled.

This is a significant update for CMF Phone 2 Pro users, especially for those who frequently use the camera. It’s recommended to connect the phone to Wi-Fi and ensure it has enough battery charge before downloading and installing the update.

Why Nothing Phone (3) Switched to the New Glyph Matrix Design?

Nothing Phone 3 Glyph Matrix explained

Nothing is getting ready to launch its next smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3). The company is known for its unique transparent design and the special Glyph Interface — LED lights on the back of the phone that give you notifications in a smart and subtle way.

With the Phone (3), Nothing is making this feature even better. The new Glyph Matrix replaces the big LED strips with a small group of tiny lights in the top-right corner of the phone. This new setup is smaller, but it can do much more.

The Glyph Matrix lets the lights form symbols, animations, and patterns. It can react to sounds or your touch. This means the back of the phone is not just for alerts anymore — it becomes a fun and personal way to connect with your phone.

Adam Bates, Head of Design at Nothing, explained:
“Since Phone (1), the Glyph lights helped people stay focused while still seeing important updates. With Phone (3), the Glyph Matrix takes that idea further. It gives more options for showing lights in a way that feels alive and personal.”

The smaller design also helps free up space inside the phone for better hardware. The Phone (3) will come with a top-level processor, so the performance will match the cool design.

Bates added:
“This is still the Glyph Interface that people love, just in a new form. The back of the phone is no longer just for signals — it’s a canvas for expression.”

The Nothing Phone (3) promises to bring smarter lights, better performance, and the same bold style that makes Nothing phones stand out.

iPhone 17 May Launch in New Colors: Purple and Green Under Testing

iphone 17 colours

Apple is reportedly testing two new color options for its upcoming iPhone 17. According to a recent report, the company is working on Purple and Green versions of the regular iPhone 17. However, it seems that only one of these colors will be released. For now, Purple is said to be the leading choice.

In addition to this, Apple is also said to be considering a new Sky Blue color for the iPhone 17 Pro. This is likely aimed at bringing a fresh look to the Pro lineup.

While new colors always catch the attention of iPhone fans, many are even more excited about the expected display upgrades. Reports earlier this month suggested that both the iPhone 17 and the rumored iPhone 17 Air (which may replace the Plus model) will finally get 120Hz displays. However, these models are not expected to include ProMotion features, which will continue to be limited to the Pro versions.

Stay tuned as more details about the iPhone 17 series are likely to surface in the coming months.
