OnePlus 16 Early Leaks Reveal Possible Flagship-Level Specs

Early leaks of the upcoming OnePlus 16 have started appearing online, even though the phone is expected to launch in Q4 2026. These details are still preliminary, but they give us an early idea of what OnePlus might be planning for its next flagship.

According to reports, the OnePlus 16 could feature a flat BOE X5 OLED display with 1220p resolution and a very high 240Hz refresh rate. If true, this would make it one of the smoothest smartphone displays on the market.

On the performance side, the phone is rumored to use a Pro version of the Snapdragon Elite Gen 6 chipset from Qualcomm, which is said to reach clock speeds of up to 6GHz. The processor may be paired with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. However, storage is expected to be non-expandable.

Battery life could be another major highlight. Leaks suggest a large 9,000mAh battery, supported by 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

For cameras, the OnePlus 16 is tipped to come with two 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensors, one for the main camera and one for the periscope telephoto lens. A new ultrawide camera is also expected, though details about it are not yet available.

Other rumored features include an Ultrasonic 2.0 in-display fingerprint scanner, dual coaxial speakers, and a 0916R vibration motor for improved haptics.

While these are still early leaks, the OnePlus 16 already sounds like a powerful flagship in the making. More official information should surface closer to its launch.
