Glass Icon Pack: The Latest Trend for Customizing Android Phones

Published

on

Glass Icon Pack

A new Glass Icon Pack has arrived for Android users, and it’s a perfect match for Nothing Phones. Inspired by Apple’s recently announced Liquid Glass user interface for iPhones, this icon pack brings a transparent, glass-like style to Android devices.

Created by a developer who shared the app directly with tech reviewers, the icon pack offers a clean and modern look. Once installed, users can apply the icon pack through their phone’s customization settings. The pack currently supports 4,977 app icons and allows users to request icons for apps that are not yet covered. It also includes 29 wallpapers that can be downloaded separately.

The icon pack is available in two versions:

Users can switch between light and dark modes, and the pack works well in both, though dark mode offers better visibility in some cases. The developer has also included codes for free downloads as a surprise for early users. Normally, the Nothingness pack costs around ₹70, while Glass Dark is priced at about ₹30–₹35.

This icon pack is great for users who want a trendy and minimal look for their Android phones, especially for those using Nothing devices. While it doesn’t add major functionality, it helps give your phone a fresh and stylish appearance.

Published

on

Depth effect wallpaper in Nothing Phone

I am going to show you something cool and interesting—Depth Effect Wallpapers with animations for your Nothing Phones and even other Android phones. These wallpapers make your lock screen look amazing by adding 3D depth and animated clock effects.

Let’s see how it works and how you can apply these wallpapers step by step.

What are Depth Effect Wallpapers?

Depth Effect Wallpapers are special live wallpapers that give a 3D-like depth look to your screen. These wallpapers also show animations, like the clock moving behind the character in the wallpaper.

For example:

  • When you unlock your phone, the clock appears behind the character.
  • The time updates automatically.
  • It looks very cool and stylish on your lock screen.

How to Apply Depth Effect Wallpapers on Nothing Phones?

Step 1: Download the Required Files

You will need some files which I will provide here. Download them to your phone.
Main file needed: Kustom KLWP App and some preset wallpapers.

Step 2: Install the Kustom KLWP App

  1. Download the Kustom KLWP app.
  2. While installing, you may face an error saying ‘App Not Installed’ because Google Play Protect might block it.
  3. To fix this:
    • Go to Google Play Store → Your Profile → Play Protect → Settings.
    • Disable ‘Scan apps with Play Protect’ and other harmful app detections temporarily.
  4. Now install the app again. It should work fine.
  5. Note: Later, enable the Scan App option in the Play Protect.

Or else you can download it from the Play Store, but you need to pay for it.

Step 3: Import and Set the Wallpapers

  1. Open the Custom KLWP App.
  2. Give all the necessary permissions.
  3. Go to the Download folder, where you saved the wallpapers (e.g., Goku, Itachi, Samurai, Spiderman).
  4. Select the folder and import the wallpaper you like (example: Itachi).
  5. Once loaded, tap Save, and then Set as Wallpaper → Home Screen & Lock Screen.
  6. Now you will see the depth effect and animation on your lock screen.

Important Tips:

  • Do NOT tap on ‘Customize’ after applying the wallpaper.
If you do, the animation may freeze and stop working properly.
  • If this happens:
    • Apply any normal wallpaper first.
    • Then go back to KLWP app and reapply the depth effect wallpaper.
    • After setting it again, the animation will work normally.

Note for Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (3a) Series Users:

In some models like Nothing Phone (2) or Phone (3a), the KLWP app may not work properly.
You might see bugs where the wallpaper applies, but the animation or depth effect doesn’t appear.
There is a solution: Go to the settings of KLWP by pressing three dots- App Settings – Advanced Options – Enable the Disable Parallel Rendering.

For best results:

Try this method on Nothing Phone (1), Phone (2a), CMF Phone 1, and CMF Phone 2 Pro—here the depth effect works smoothly with real-time clock animation.

Final Advice:

  • Avoid putting any widgets or icons at the top of your lock screen.
  • After everything is done, don’t forget to go back to the Google Play Store → Play Protect Settings and enable the protections back again for safety.

Conclusion:

So that’s how you can easily apply depth effect wallpapers with animations on your Nothing Phone or other Android phones. It will make your device look unique and more attractive.

Google Android 15 Update Officially Released, Closed Updates Rolling Out

Published

Android 15

After numerous developer previews and public beta versions, Android 15 is now fully stable and prepared for release on all smartphones. However, even though the final version is ready, it’s not yet available to the general public, including you and me. At this stage, only developers have access to the stable version so they can optimize their apps and services before it’s officially rolled out to everyone else.

Google has finally uploaded the Android 15 source code to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) but updates for phones are not yet ready. Even Google’s own Pixel smartphones are still running Android 14 with the September update that began rolling out yesterday.

Google also promised that Android 15 will arrive on Pixel devices very soon, including the newly launched Pixel 9 series. Smartphones from Samsung, Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, Motorola, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, vivo, and Xiaomi will receive the update in the coming months.

As of now, we have heard that the OnePlus 12 has received OxygenOS 15 first CBT update followed by Nothing’s Phone 2a which also received Nothing OS 3.0 CBT update based on Android 15.

According to the previous reports, Android 15 would reach Pixel devices in October. Although Google hasn’t confirmed this directly. For now, developers can explore the AOSP code and begin working with it.
