Nothing has officially started rolling out the Nothing OS 4.0 stable update for the CMF Phone 1. The company has also confirmed that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will receive the same update in the coming weeks as part of a phased rollout.
Rollout details
According to the announcement, the update rollout is staggered:
- CMF Phone 1 is receiving the update from 26th December

This means users of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will need to wait a little longer before the update reaches their devices.

For CMF Phone 1, the update size is around 2.03GB. The installation process takes roughly 25–30 minutes, depending on device and network conditions. No data wipe is required, but users are advised to take a backup just to be safe.
