Nothing has started rolling out the new Nothing OS 4.1 update for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. This latest update brings several new features, improvements, and bug fixes to improve the overall user experience.
The update size is around 351 MB, and it also includes the March 2026 Android security patch, making the device more secure and stable.
New Features and Improvements
One of the major highlights of this update is the new Breathing Break widget. It helps users relax by guiding them through breathing exercises, and it also works with the Glyph interface.
Nothing has also improved Live Updates, which now work across the lock screen, notification panel, and Glyph interface. This makes it easier to track real-time activities like navigation.
The Glyph interface has received some useful upgrades. Users now get improved Essential Notifications settings, new generative ringtones with unique Glyph patterns, and the ability to check charging progress on the Glyph by simply shaking the phone.
Lock Screen and UI Changes
The update brings new customization options to the lock screen. A new clock style from the Phone (3a) Community Edition has been added, along with support for depth effects and adjustable clock sizes.
Other visual improvements include a blur effect on the password screen, a cleaner dual network signal icon, and better spacing of status bar icons for a more polished look.
Camera Enhancements
Nothing has also made improvements to the camera. The update introduces a new India-exclusive Cricket preset and an Amber portrait preset.
Users can now import presets directly using Playground Sync, and there is also a new power-saving feature during video recording. Additionally, image quality has been improved with better exposure, colors, and HDR processing.
Performance and Bug Fixes
Along with new features, the update focuses on performance improvements. It includes better haptic feedback in the Recorder app, improved dual SIM instructions, and faster Wi-Fi searching.
Nothing has also enhanced overall system stability and fixed some display issues in Quick Settings.
