Nothing has started rolling out a new update for Essential Space, bringing an important feature that makes it easier to save and access your data across devices.
Cloud Storage Now Available in Essential Space
With this update, Essential Space now supports cloud storage. This means your data such as notes, screenshots, voice recordings, images, tasks, and summaries can be backed up and synced using your Nothing account.
This feature helps users keep their important content safe and available anytime.
Easy Access Across Devices
One of the biggest benefits of this update is cross-device access. If you switch to a new phone, reset your device, or use multiple Nothing devices, your Essential Space data will stay with you.
Everything will automatically sync once you log in with your Nothing account.
Designed for Better Reliability
Nothing says this feature is designed to make Essential Space more reliable and useful. As more users depend on it to save ideas, reminders, and important content, cloud storage ensures everything stays secure and easy to access.
How to Manage Cloud Storage
You can manage your cloud storage settings by following this path:
Essential Space > Profile > Storage > Backup
Supported Devices
The update is rolling out to all 2025–2026 Nothing and CMF phones that support the Essential Key.
How to Update
- If auto-update is enabled, the Essential Space app will update automatically
- If not, you can manually update it from the Google Play Store
Security and Privacy
Nothing has also focused on security and privacy. The cloud storage feature uses Google’s cloud infrastructure to store and sync your data.
Your data is protected under GDPR rules and follows Google’s security standards. Only you can access your Essential Space content through your account.
If your device is offline, your data will sync automatically once you reconnect to the internet.
