OnePlus 13 Expected to Feature Ultrasonic Fingerprint and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

OnePlus is again started to make headlines with its next upcoming flagship smartphone – the OnePlus 13. This new-gen device appears to give the best performance and user experience in the tech industry.
From there, popular tipster Digital Chat Station has dropped some interested specs of the OnePlus 13. First of all it is said to come with a 6.8-inch micro-curved display with a 2K resolution. This screen also features LTPO technology, which is good for saving battery life. The display of the upcoming device will be similar to its predecessor OnePlus 12, which suggests that we should not expect major changes on this front.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 could have the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor-a powerful chipset to launch later this year. The device will have 6000 mAh battery which is an upgrade from the previous one it was confirmed by DCS again.
Based on his words, the OnePlus 13 will come with a 6,000 mAh battery, an upgrade from the 5,400 mAh battery on the OnePlus 12. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 will come with charging capabilities of 100W wired and 50W wireless.
Another field in which the OnePlus 13 is expected to improve its camera technology. This may involve a multi-focal camera system, including a periscope telephoto lens, perfect for capturing high-quality zoomed images. It could sport a triple-camera system with a 50MP primary shooter, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens.
The design of the OnePlus 13 has not been certain yet. Mixed signals have been received from the leaks, with some forwarded major aesthetic changes, while others firmly believe that it’s going to keep the phone design similar to the OnePlus 12, complete with the same familiar round camera module. One possible big upgrade will be an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The new sensor promises better performance in tricky situations, such as when fingers are wet or oily.
One report earlier mentioned that the OnePlus 13 will launch in China anytime from October to November this year. So it will be released for the global region in December or January next year.

OnePlus 11 OxygenOS 15 August Update Rolls Out with Split View Enhancements, BeaconLink, and Privacy Improvements

OnePlus has rolled out a new OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 11, bringing a range of improvements, useful features, and the latest August 2025 Android security patch. The update size is 890.86 MB and focuses on making the phone smoother, smarter, and more secure.
The update enhances the overall user experience with smoother animations for opening, repositioning, and resizing floating windows. Multitasking also gets better with improvements to Split View. It is no longer limited to fixed ratios, and users can now adjust the ratio freely. When using two apps in landscape, the divider can be dragged to resize them according to preference.
In terms of notifications, OnePlus has simplified how alerts appear in landscape mode. Instead of taking over the full screen, banner notifications now appear in a minimal format to reduce interruptions. Users can also swipe down on a notification to open the app in a floating window, or tap a button to do the same, rather than switching to full screen.
The Private Safe feature has been upgraded as well. Users can now share images and videos stored in Private Safe, customize album covers, and sort or view media files by time. There is also a new option to add files directly under the “Other files” category, giving more control over stored content. When recent tasks are stacked, users can now lock or unlock apps simply by swiping down on the app from the recent tasks screen.
A notable addition is BeaconLink, which allows users to send text, images, and voice messages to nearby people without an internet connection. This can be enabled in Settings > Mobile network > BeaconLink.
Lastly, the update integrates the August 2025 Android security patch, ensuring better protection for the device.
With this update, the OnePlus 11 becomes more seamless to use, offering improved multitasking, enhanced privacy options, and a more distraction-free experience.
