Nothing Reveals Big 2027 Plans: More Phones, More Stores, More Products

London-based consumer technology brand Nothing is preparing for a much bigger 2027. In an exclusive conversation with Times Now Tech, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis revealed that the company plans to nearly double its smartphone lineup next year while also expanding its retail stores, audio products, and manufacturing in India.

Nothing Could Launch Around Six Phones in 2027

Nothing launched three smartphones this year: the Nothing Phone (4a), Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, and Nothing Phone (4b).

While Akis did not reveal the names of upcoming devices, he confirmed that the company is planning to launch almost twice as many smartphones next year.

“It’s still too early to discuss individual products, but we’ve launched three smartphones this year, and we’re looking to launch twice that number next year,” Akis said.

If the current plans remain unchanged, Nothing could launch at least six smartphones in 2027.

More Nothing Stores Coming to India

Nothing is also planning to expand its offline presence in India.

Earlier this year, the company opened its first exclusive Nothing Store in Bengaluru, which received a strong response from customers on the opening day.

Now, the company plans to open two more exclusive stores in India by the first quarter of 2027. The final locations have not been confirmed yet, but cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad are being considered. According to Akis, the locations should be finalized by the end of September.

Audio Products Will Be a Bigger Focus

Apart from smartphones, Nothing wants to grow its audio business even further.

Akis said the company’s audio products have performed very well this year. To support future growth, Nothing has created dedicated teams for audio and AI-native products.

He also said the company is working on expanding local manufacturing before bringing more premium audio products to India.

Nothing has already started manufacturing products such as the CMF Watch 3 Pro and CMF Headphone Pro in India, and the company hopes to manufacture more audio products locally in the future.

More Product Launches Are Still Coming This Year

The launch season is not over yet for Nothing.

Akis confirmed that the company still has more products planned for Q3 2026. While he did not reveal any details, he hinted that some rumors already circulating online may be related to these upcoming launches.

What About the Next CMF Phone?

Many people expected the CMF Phone 3 Pro to launch this year, but Nothing confirmed earlier that there would be no new CMF smartphone in 2026 because of rising memory prices.

When asked about a possible CMF phone in 2027, Akis said the company is still evaluating the market.

He explained that Nothing is closely watching memory prices before making a final decision. However, the company’s plans for the Nothing-branded smartphone lineup are already set, with a goal of doubling the portfolio and increasing smartphone shipments by 50 percent next year.

India and the US Remain Key Markets

Akis said India will continue to be one of Nothing’s most important markets because of its large customer base, manufacturing, research and development, and growing technology ecosystem.

He also confirmed that the company is increasing its focus on the United States, where it sees more opportunities, especially in the audio segment.

Bigger Marketing Plans Ahead

Nothing also plans to invest more in marketing next year.

Akis said the company’s partnership with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has been a huge success in India and that Nothing wants to create similar campaigns in other markets.

He also revealed that after signing Charli XCX as its first global brand ambassador, the company will announce another global ambassador as it continues expanding in Western markets.
